ABS plastic
Features:
1. Good comprehensive performance, high impact strength, chemical stability and good electrical performance.

3. High impact resistance, high heat resistance, flame retardant, enhanced, transparent and other levels.
4, liquidity is a little worse than HIPS, better than PMMA, PC, etc., good flexibility.
ABS engineering plastics have excellent comprehensive properties, excellent impact strength, good dimensional stability, electrical properties, wear resistance, chemical resistance, dyeing, molding and mechanical processing is better. ABS resin is resistant to water, inorganic salts, alkalis and acids, insoluble in most alcohols and hydrocarbon solvents, but easily soluble in aldehydes, ketones, esters and some chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Disadvantages of ABS engineering plastics: low thermal deformation temperature, flammable, poor weather resistance.
Uses: Suitable for making general mechanical parts, anti-wear parts, transmission parts and telecommunications parts.
ABS PC:
Commonly known as ABS plus poly carbon. It is one of the few materials that may be used thoroughly in China. It cannot ignite spontaneously. When an external fire burns, small particles like carbon burning are precipitated on the surface. The black color is lower than ABS. It is common in electrical devices, mechanical parts, etc.
Polyamide (PA, commonly known as nylon)
PA is characteristic: tough, strong, wear-resistant, non-toxic.
Disadvantages: not long-term contact with acid and alkali.
Commonly used in the production of combs, toothbrushes, clothes hooks, fan bones, net bag rope, fruit packaging bags, etc.
PC: Polycarbonate
Polycarbonate in English is Polycarbonate, referred to as PC engineering plastics, PC material is actually what we call engineering plastics in a, as a material widely used in the world,
Polycarbonate is colorless and transparent, heat-resistant, impact-resistant, flame-retardant, and has good mechanical properties at ordinary use temperatures. Compared with the performance close to polymethyl methacrylate, polycarbonate has good impact resistance, high refractive index and good processing performance,
Polycarbonate has poor abrasion resistance. Some polycarbonate devices for wear-prone applications require special surface treatment.
Common daily applications include CDs, eye tablets, water bottles, bulletproof glass, goggles, bank bullet-proof glass, headlights, etc., animal cages, pet cages.
Polycarbonate was also used to make helmet masks for astronauts on the moon. Apple's ipod music player and ibook laptop cases are also made of polycarbonate.
POM: POM
It is a Milky White opaque crystalline linear polymer.
Good overall performance, fatigue resistance is the best in thermoplastics, and excellent mechanical properties at room temperature. Wear resistance, low friction coefficient, good dimensional stability, surface gloss, creep resistance, torsion resistance, resistance to repeated impact, resistance to load recovery is good.
However, the molding shrinkage rate is large, but the thermal stability is poor, easy to burn, and easy to age in the atmosphere.
Suitable for the production of anti-wear parts, transmission parts, as well as chemical, instrumentation and other parts
PP: Polypropylene
Features:
Non-toxic, tasteless, small degree, strength stiffness, hardness and heat resistance are better than low pressure polyethylene, can be used at about 100 degrees. Has good electrical properties and high frequency insulation is not affected by humidity,
But the low temperature becomes brittle, not wear-resistant, easy to aging.
Suitable for the production of general mechanical parts, corrosion-resistant parts and insulation parts. Common acid and alkali organic solvents have almost no effect on it and can be used for tableware.
PE: Polyethylene
Polyethylene odorless, non-toxic, feel like wax, has excellent low temperature resistance (the lowest use temperature can reach -70 ~-100 ℃), good chemical stability, can resist most of the acid and alkali erosion (not resistant to acid with oxidation properties), insoluble in general solvents at room temperature, small water absorption, excellent electrical insulation performance;
However, polyethylene is very sensitive to environmental stress (chemical and mechanical effects) and has poor heat aging resistance.
PE has a wide range of uses and is divided into high density, low density and linear PE. The most commonly used ones are various plastic films and plastic sheets.
PPO: Polyphenylene ether
1, for white particles. Good overall performance, can be used in 120 degrees steam, good electrical insulation, water absorption is small, but there is a tendency to stress cracking. Modified polyphenylene ether can eliminate stress cracking.
2, has outstanding electrical insulation and excellent water resistance, good dimensional stability. Its dielectric properties rank first in plastics.
3. MPPO is a modified material made by blending PPO and HIPS, and the materials currently on the market are all such materials.
4, has a high heat resistance, glass transition temperature of 211 degrees, melting point of 268 degrees, heating to 330 degrees has a tendency to decompose, the higher the content of PPO, the better its heat resistance, heat distortion temperature of up to 190 degrees.
5. Good flame retardancy, self-interest, and moderate flammability after mixing with HIPS. Light weight, non-toxic
Disadvantages:
Poor fluidity, similar to Newtonian fluid, viscosity is more sensitive to temperature, the thickness of the product is generally more than 0.8mm. Very easy to decompose, decomposition of corrosive gas.
1, suitable for the production of heat-resistant parts, insulation parts, wear parts, transmission parts, medical and electronic parts.
2. It can be used as gears, blades, valves and other parts at higher temperatures, and can be used instead of stainless steel.
3. Screws, fasteners and connectors can be made.
4. Electrical parts of motor, rotor, casing and transformer.
PVC: Polyvinyl chloride
The natural color is yellowish translucent and shiny. Transparency is better than polyethylene and polystyrene, and worse than polystyrene. With the different dosage of additives, it is divided into soft and hard polyvinyl chloride. Soft products are soft and tough, and feel sticky. The hardness of hard products is higher than that of low density polyethylene, but lower than that of polypropylene. Whitening will occur at the bend.
